I General Introduction
Tianjin Foreign Studies University (TFSU), one of China’s eight foremost higher education institutions specializing in foreign languages, is a multi-disciplinary university with “Foreign Language & Literature” as the predominant discipline. The program of ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH)’ is an online teaching project which consists of seven cultural topics: New Year Painting, Clay Sculpture, Kite, Paper-cut, Traditional Opera, Calligraphy and Painting, Classical Chinese Poems. By delivering online and live streaming courses, this project aims to provide further understanding of China’s ICH culture to overseas audiences.
This seven-day program is free of charge and a Certificate of Study will be issued at the end of it.

II Program Contents
1. Learn Chinese: study Chinese with experienced Chinese language teachers;
2. Understand ICH: listen to stories told by inheritors of ICH;
3. Experience ICH: visit the museum online, learn how to make kites and paper-cut by yourself, and learn Chinese calligraphy and painting;
4. Communication and Interaction: online discussion with Chinese students.
III Program Forms
This online program will be carried out online, indoors and outdoors, combining real-time language teaching, online activities and video courses related with intangible cultural heritage.
IV Program Period
March 1,2021 - March 7, 2021
V Who can apply
1. Students from 9 Confucius Institutes co-hosted by Tianjin Foreign Studies University.
2. Students from universities which have friendly communication with Tianjin Foreign Studies University.
3. Other overseas people who are interested in Chinese language and culture.
